What Nobody Tells You About Machine Learning
Machine learning seems to be all the rage these days. But what is it exactly? REA
Broadly speaking, machine learning (ML) is a subset of artificial intelligence that allows systems to learn from data, identify repeating patterns and make decisions without explicit instructions or human intervention. Therefore, ML enables companies to save time and resources on a wide range of tasks while achieving better business outcomes.
Even so, only about half of enterprises are actually using machine learning.
You might assume that this is because only the largest or most innovative companies have teams of data scientists who are prepared to work with ML. While data scientists are necessary to develop ML models, in my experience there are several other factors preventing ML adoption. Businesses should understand what these factors are and should have a plan for addressing them before they invest in ML. READ MORE ON: FORBES
