Google’s web services are undergoing a significant transformation. It’s making the Workspace service available to everyone with a Google account. According to the press release:
By bringing Google Workspace to everyone, we’re making it easy for people to stay connected, get organized, and achieve more together, whether it’s advancing a cause, planning your family reunion, assigning next steps for the PTA, or discussing this month’s book club pick.
Google Workspace For projects
Google account holders can use Google Chat to create a secure collaboration space where they can keep everyone up to date, share ideas, and keep track of all of their important information in one place, from videos and photos from their most recent trip to a Google Sheet with their family’s annual budget. Users can use smart canvas to create a checklist in Google Docs and instantly assign roles and next steps to keep things moving. If one’s project necessitates a quick discussion, they can easily present the Doc, Sheet, or Slide they’re working on together into a Google Meet session with a single click.

Google Workspace For Individuals
Google Workspace Individual was intended to allow people to spend more time doing what they enjoy, such as interacting with customers and providing tailored services, and less time on mundane duties like making meetings and responding to emails. There will also be a new premium service for individual customers who want more from their Workspace, though Google hasn’t said how much it would cost. Users will gain access to “premium features” such as “smart booking services,” “professional video meetings,” and “targeted email marketing,” among other things.
Since Google Workspace is now available to everyone, anyone can easily manage their junior sports league, expand their fundraiser, or transform their pastime into a business. Whatever it is, Google Workspace connects, creates, and collaborates with people (teams, families, friends, volunteers, colleagues, etc.
